Leah is a 500hr experienced yoga teacher with over 1000 hours of continued supporting education and teaching. Her practice began in 2017 upon discovering the pathway of Ayurveda after struggling with fatigue, digestive issues, brain fog and a disconnection from the physical self and others. Ayurveda is the sister science of yoga, which provides a holistic approach to healing the self as a whole. The pathway of personal evolution requires a union of practices, with an understanding we all have a unique journey to follow. Leah’s teaching strives to create brave spaces for all humans to reclaim a dynamic and compassionate relationship with Self. Leah lives in Puyallup with her beloved, Luis and their black lab rescue, Ricky Bobby. She’s worked in public education for 23 years in step with her desire to support and serve the greater community. On sunny days you can find her on the foothills trail longboarding or kayaking at Alder Lake in the shadow of her favorite sanctuary, Mount Rainier. Occasionally she’ll take her handpan to the mountain and play for the deer and marmots. Her passion resides in storytelling and guiding others into a deeper, compassionate relationship with their authentic self. Leah is by appointment only.
